We have a dream for our community…..

Latest Update - Early March

OK so here is where we are currently at…..this is NOT as easy as we thought. Soooo many of you are contacting us asking when we are starting and wanting to book onto workshops and we promise we aren’t ignoring you (well we are but here’s why!). We have become entirely bogged down with planning permission, bat surveys, spiraling costs and funding difficulties. But we are not being deterred, no m’am. After having some great feedback sessions and support with various stakeholders we are going to trial a pilot project whilst we get things sorted here. So introducing…….drum roll……

In short we are going to try our best to secure a “meanwhile lease” which is essentially the use of a vacant shop to run a pop up pilot right in the heart of the community. You can see our project overview here which lays our idea and social impact goals. But we aren’t going to pull this off without a bit more help, so if you think you can help us out in some way and our project floats your boat we would love to hear from you - maybe you are experienced in grant applications and could lend us hand filling out gizillion forms, maybe you are a landlord or agent that knows of the perfect place, maybe you just wanna get on board and can offer us some time? You can book a chat with Lou here:

But before you click that button please, just at the moment, don’t book to chat about workshop ideas, asking when we starting or offering tutor services. We absolutely want to hear about all those things but right now until we secure a space to run from our tiny minds can only focus on the mission of doing that. Anyway, that’s the latest news, we promise we are working super hard to pull this off.

Much love, Lou, Barbs & Heidi

Our Project.

We are a bold, female-led not-for-profit on a mission to smash stereotypes and spark confidence! We’re building a hands-on community skillshare where total beginners can dive into DIY, traditional crafts, and essential life skills in a fun, no-judgement zone. Whether it’s picking up a drill, darning a sock, or mastering small business know-how, we’ve got you covered. And the best bit? We offer free places for women on benefits, because everyone deserves the tools to thrive.

Nestled 10 minutes from Ringwood & Christchurch in a magical place far from the madding crowds.
